Hello! My name is Rebecca. I am a lifelong musician and music lover that has been lucky enough to turn my passion into a career. I completed a Bachelors degree in Music Education, majoring in piano and minoring in voice at Murray State University. After deciding to pursue a career as a private instructor, I earned a Masters degree in Piano Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma.

I have been teaching private lessons for over 10 years and have experience teaching students ranging in age from 4 years old to adult students from beginning to advanced levels. As a teacher, I enjoy individualizing my instruction to best fit each student’s learning style and goals as a musician and watching their skills and passion for music grow.

As a performer, I have had the opportunity to perform in many different venues and genres including classical solo performances, providing music for church services, and collaborating with choral ensembles and individual soloists. I continue to perform regularly for my own enrichment and enjoy working within all types of music genres and with other musicians.
